SOFT GINGERBREAD | |
2 eggs 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. shortening 3/4 c. milk (sweet or sour) 1 c. raisins 1 c. honey 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 1/2 c. sifted flour 2 to 3 tbsp. chocolate 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg Combine sugar, shortening, eggs, milk, and honey until well blended. Add dry ingredients, sifted together; blend well. Stir in raisins. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in slow oven (350 degrees) about 45 minutes. |
