SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
Dash salt
1 c. golden Eagle syrup
1/3 c. butter
1 c. pecan halves
9" unbaked pie shell

Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, salt, syrup and butter. Add pecan halves. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
