SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. butter, melted
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. shelled pecans
1 unbaked pie shell

Combine sugar, syrup and melted butter. Add beaten eggs and pecans to syrup mixture. Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 or 45 minutes.
