1 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites
1 c. pecan pieces
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Mix with beater: Sugar, syrup, and butter. Add egg whites and mix well. Add pecans. Fill unbaked pie shell and bake in 350 degree oven until knife comes out clean when inserted. (About 40-50 minutes.)
