CHOP SUEY 
1 lb. beef, cubed
1 lb. pork, cubed
1 can bean sprouts
1 can water chestnuts
1 can bamboo shoots
1 can mushrooms
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 c. celery, chopped
1 tbsp. onion, chopped
Salt & pepper

Brown meat in oil. Add sugar, onions, and celery. Cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients, chopped. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. For thickening add 1 1/2 tablespoons of cornstarch in 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil and serve over rice with chow mein noodles on top.
