CHOP SUEY 
1 1/2 lb. stew beef
1/2 lb. lean pork
1/4 c. minced onion
1 c. chopped celery
2 sm. cans mushrooms
1 sm. can waterchestnuts (sliced)
1 can bean sprouts
1 c. soy sauce

Chunk meat in bite size pieces. Brown meat in butter. Add onion, celery and soy sauce; simmer 1 hour. Add mushrooms and waterchestnuts; simmer. Add bean sprouts; simmer 1 hour. When meat is very tender, (about 2 1/2 to 3 hours) add flour/water mixture to thicken (2 tablespoons flour to 1 cup water). Bring to boil.

Serve over rice and/or mashed potatoes.
