BEEF TERIYAKI | |
2 (1 lb.) flank or top round 1/4 c. chopped green onions 1 c. beef consomme (undiluted) 1/2 c. red table wine 3 tbsp. lime juice 1 clove garlic (mashed) 1/3 c. soy sauce 2 tsp. brown sugar Cut meat in 1 inch strips diagonally across grain. Lay meat, onions in large bowl. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Store overnight or 4-5 hours. Charcoal or broil. Do not overcook - makes it tough. |
