HARVEST LOAF CAKE 
LOAF:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
3/4 c. canned pumpkin
3/4 c. chocolate chips
1 c. finely chopped nuts, divided

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Combine flour, soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, ginger and cloves. Add to creamed mixture. Alternate with pumpkin, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.

Fold in chocolate chips and 3/4 cup walnuts. Grease and line with waxed paper a 9"x5"x3" loaf pan. Turn batter into pan and sprinkle with remaining walnuts. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 5 minutes or until loaf tastes done. Cool.

GLAZE:

1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. light cream

Combine sugar with nutmeg, cinnamon and cream. Drizzle over cooled loaf.
