GLAZED FRIED APPLES 
4 medium apples, cored only
1/4 c. and 2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar

Slice apples into 1/8 inch rings. Place in butter in large skillet. Cover and cook over medium heat 10 minutes or until tender. Add sugar and cook, uncovered, 10 minutes longer or until golden brown. Yield: 6-8 servings.
