FRUIT AND NUT SCONES | |
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 2 1/2 tsp. Calumet baking powder 6 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. milk 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. Fruit & Fiber cereal Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter. Beat eggs and milk together; stir into flour mixture, blending well. Add cereal. Turn dough onto lightly floured board; pat into 3/4 inch thick rectangle. Cut into 4 inch squares; cut each into 2 triangles. Place on greased baking sheets. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar, if desired. Bake 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Serves 10-12. |
