HASH BROWN POTATO BAKE 
2 lbs. hash brown potatoes (frozen), well thawed
1 pt. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 onion, diced
2 c. grated cheddar cheese (8 oz. pkg.)
1 stick butter
Crushed potato chips

Place 1 stick butter in 13"x9" Pyrex casserole and melt butter, grease all sides; leave the rest in the bottom of pan.

Mix together thawed potatoes, sour cream, soup, onion and cheese well. Pour into casserole and top with crushed potato chips. Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven. Serves 12.
