3 tbsp. butter
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. chocolate milk
Chopped nuts
1 1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/3 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
1 qt. chocolate ice cream

Heat waffle iron. Melt chocolate and butter together and set aside while you mix dry ingredients together. Stir in eggs, then chocolate and milk. Stir until smooth. Pour onto heated waffle iron and cook as usual. Remove waffle carefully and place on serving plates. Top each with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and nuts. A little like a Belgian waffle. Very good.
