CHOCOLATE WAFFLES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
3/4 c. milk
2 egg whites
2 squares chocolate
1/2 c. nuts

Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy, add 2 egg yolks, mix well. Add milk alternately with dry ingredients. Stir in 2 (1 ounce) squares of chocolate and 1/2 cup nuts. Fold in 2 stiff beaten egg whites. Bake 5 minutes in a waffle iron heated slightly cooler then for waffles.
