FRENCH - FRIED ONIONS 
6 med. Bermuda onions, thinly sliced
Milk
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten or 2 whole eggs, beaten
Salt & pepper to taste
Flour
Fat

Separate onion slices into rings. Cover rings with milk; let stand for 30 minutes. Drain thoroughly. Dip into egg whites and seasoned flour. Fry in preheated 375 degree fat until light brown. Yield: 8 servings.
