SWEDISH WHITE BROWNIES 
2 eggs
1 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. coconut

Beat eggs very well, add sugar, beat again. Add salt, butter (which has been cooled slightly) and the rest of the ingredients. Pour this into a greased 8x8 inch or 7x12 inch pan and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

This recipe can be doubled, but cook longer, if put into one pan. If thin brownies are wanted, put into one 8x8 inch and one 7x12 inch pan; if thicker, put into 9x12 inch and bake 40-45 minutes.
