PITA BREAD | |
3/4 c. hot water 1 pkg. yeast 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. flour Dissolve yeast in water. Add other ingredients. Cover and let rise for 1 hour. Knead 2 or 3 times. Make dough into small portions to be rolled into 5 inch rounds, 1/8 inch thick. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown at 500 degrees for 7 minutes. Can be frozen after baking. |
