STRAWBERRY PIE GLACE (Shoney's
Style)
 
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
Dash of salt
3 tbsp. strawberry Jello
1 c. boiling water
1 qt. fresh strawberries
1 9" baked pie shell

Mix all ingredients except berries. Cook until mixture is thick. Set aside for at least 2 1/2 hours to cool to room temperature. Place berries in shell. Pour glaze over. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
