BOILED RAISIN SPICE CUPS 
1 c. raisins
3 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 egg
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda

Boil raisins 20 minutes, drain and cool 1 cup liquid. Cream sugar and butter. Add egg. Sift flour and dry ingredients. Add to sugar and butter gradually, alternating with liquid. Add raisins. Pour into lined muffin tins. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
