2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Karo light syrup
2/3 c. water
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. pecans

Cook syrup until when you drop a drop or two into the water, it will pop. Beat egg whites until stiff. Pour syrup into egg whites and beat. Add nuts and vanilla. Spoon out onto waxed paper or greased dish or pour into a buttered dish until cool, then cut into squares.
