Make meat loaf mixture. Spread to a rectangle on foil or waxed paper. Arrange ham slices on top of meat mixture, leaving a small margin around the edges. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the ham. Carefully roll up the meat. Seal the edges and ends. Place roll, seam side down, in a baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour and fifteen minutes or until done. Small cheese wedges may be put over roll when baking is done. Return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Slice as you would a jelly roll.
