BEER-BATTERED FISH 
1 c. buttermilk baking mix
1 c. beer (your favorite brand)
Garlic salt, salt and pepper, to taste
2 to 3 lbs. fillets (the catch of the day, cleaned and filleted)
Vegetable oil for frying

Combine baking mix, beer, garlic salt, salt and pepper in a bowl. Dip cleaned fish fillets in batter. Fry in hot oil in a deep fryer or skillet until golden brown. Drain on absorbent towels. Serve hot. 4 servings.
