PANHANDLE MUD CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring to a boil butter, water and cocoa. Mix in all other ingredients. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
6 tbsp. coffee
1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. nuts
1 box powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Bring butter, coffee and cocoa to a boil. Beat in powdered sugar. Add nuts. Frost cake while hot.
