1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oats
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. raisins

Blend sugar, brown sugar and shortening. Add eggs, flour, salt, soda and baking powder. Add vanilla, oats, nuts and raisins. Mix and drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. I like to add 1/2 cup chocolate chips sometimes.
