HAWAIIAN MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2/3 c. cracker crumbs
1/3 c. minced onion
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. milk

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. cornstarch
20 oz. can pineapple tidbits, drained, reserve juice
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/3 c. chopped green pepper

Combine meat, crumbs, onion, egg, salt, ginger and milk. Make into balls. Brown in skillet, remove and drain off fat.

Mix cornstarch and sugar, stir in pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce until smooth. Cook in same skillet stirring constantly at boil 1 minute until thick. Add meatballs, pineapple chunks and green pepper. Keep warm in crockpot.
