GLAZED HAWAIIAN MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. Quick cooking oats
1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. minced onions
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple tidbits
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Combine ground beef, egg, oats, milk, onion, garlic salt, ginger and pepper; mix well. Drain pineapple (reserve juice).

Form meatballs by shaping about 1 teaspoon meat mixture around each pineapple tidbit. Place meatballs in 12 x 18 inch microwave baking dish. Microwave (high) 7-8 minutes. Rotate dish once.

Combine reserved pineapple juice, soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch and garlic powder in 1 cup microwave safe measuring cup. Mix well. Add any leftover pineapple bits. Microwave (high) uncovered, 2-3 minutes or until mixture boils, stirring once. Pour over meatballs. Makes about 48 meatballs.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
