CHOCOLATE MINT SQUARES 
CAKE LAYER:

1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all of the cake layer ingredients together and pour into a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

MINT LAYER:

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 tbsp. creme de menthe

Mix mint layer ingredients together. Spread over cooled cake.

GLAZE:

6 oz. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter
