COTTAGE CHEESE APPLE PIE 
Mix: 1 1/2 c. tart, thinly sliced apples (2 1/2 c. for 11 inch pie)
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Turn apple mixture into unpricked pastry shell. Bake 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and pour custard mixture over apples and continue to bake 40 minutes or until mixture sets. Cool.
