GRANDMA'S BEST APPLE PIE 
1 full c. sugar
1 level tsp. cinnamon
1 slight tsp. nutmeg
Full pan of apples, if apples are not tart, put 1 tsp. of lemon juice

Mix dry ingredients and sprinkle on apples in crusted pie tin. Dot with butter. Sprinkle top crust with cinnamon sugar or brush with milk to acquire glistening appearance. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then 350 degrees for 45 minutes, until very tender and bubbling.

CINNAMON SUGAR:

1 full tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
