MOM'S COLE SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage
2 bunches fresh green onions, chopped fine with green tips
2 tbsp. sugar (optional)
1 lemon
1 pt. mayonnaise
Salt and pepper

Grate cabbage in a medium size bowl. Add onions, sugar, mayonnaise, and juice of lemon, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well. Refrigerate. (Will keep for approximately 2 weeks.)
