GREAT SUMMER PARTY SALAD 
5 1/2 oz. pkg. slivered almonds, toasted and salted
1 cube butter and salt for nuts
2 c. real mayonnaise
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 1/2 tbsp. Chinese type soy sauce
1 heaping tbsp. curry powder
1 tbsp. onion juice (or finely grated)
1 tbsp. chutney
3 c. chicken or turkey, cooked and cut into chunks
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
6 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
2 c. seedless grapes
15 3/4 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained

Mix together mayonnaise, lemon juice, soy sauce, curry powder, onion juice and chutney. Assemble all other ingredients except the nuts. Toss all this well in the mayonnaise mixture. Place in refrigerator overnight so flavors will blend. Toss with nuts just before serving. Serves 8.
