HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 med. potatoes
3/4 c. chopped onion
4 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
3/4 c. water
6 slices bacon, cut up
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/3 c. vinegar

Boil potatoes with jackets on. Cool and peel and dice. Brown bacon and onion. Add flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and dash of pepper. Brown well. Add water and vinegar. Pour over diced potatoes. Serve immediately or bake it later.
