KWIK FRUIT COBBLER 
1 stick butter
1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple, fruit cocktail, cherry pie filling

(Or any kind of fruit).

BATTER:

1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. water

Use 9 x 13 inch or 8 x 8 inch square pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Break up butter into pieces, place in pan and melt in oven. Meantime, mix your batter until lumps disappear. Remove pan from oven and pour batter over butter in pan spreading evenly. Dribble can of fruit over batter and put back in oven 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
