BAKED APPLE CRISP 
5 sliced apples
1/2 c. water
1 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Place apples in a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Add water. Combine the flour, sugar, butter, cinnamon and salt. Rub this mixture with your hands to form crumbs. Spread crumbs over apples.

Bake at 375 degrees for about 40 minutes, uncovered. Serve warm or cold.
