BRAN MUFFINS | |
1 c. raisins 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. honey 2 1/2 c. flour 2 c. water 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. salad oil 2 c. bran (wheat bran) Blend together the raisins, salt, sugar and soda. Blend in honey and oil on low speed of mixer. Add flour and bran and blend at low speed. Add water and mix in well on medium speed. Bake muffins at 350 to 375 degrees until golden brown and the tops of the muffin springs back when touched or a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle of the muffin. Baking time may vary. Class of '94 |
