AMERICAN PIZZA 
1 lb. bulk sausage
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/2 clove garlic, finely minced
2 c. biscuit mix
1/2 c. milk
1 c. grated American cheese
2 1/2 c. drained canned tomatoes
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Paprika

Brown sausage, drain fat. Add thyme and garlic to sausage. Add milk to biscuit mix blending to soft dough. Place dough on floured board. Roll lightly to fit 9-inch pie pan. Place dough in pan and crimp edges as for single shell pie. Add meat mixture. Top with American cheese, then tomatoes. Sprinkle with Parmesan and a sprinkling of paprika. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 25 minutes.
