BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. Nabisco 100% Bran cereal
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. Kellogg's All Bran
1 pt. buttermilk
Nuts and raisins
Dates, prunes
Cranberries
Banana
Pineapple

Soak Nabisco bran in boiling water; cool. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold into butter mix alternately with cooled water mixture. Mix in Kellogg's All Bran cereal alternately with buttermilk.

Add nuts and raisins and/or any other fruits you may like. Bake in tins at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes. You can save some of the dough in the refrigerator for a month or more. I microwave a couple at 30 seconds every morning.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
