SWEET AND SOUR PORK 
1 lb. fresh pork, boneless loin of pork or pork butter
1 tsp. salt

BATTER MIXTURE:

1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. water
1 egg

Cut pork into 3/4 inch cubes. Sprinkle with salt. Combine batter ingredients. Combine pork with batter mixture. Fry in hot oil at 375 degrees dropping 1 piece at a time into the oil until half is in the pan. Fry for about 4 minutes. Repeat until all meat has been fried. You can also double fry the pork cubes, if you so desire.
