MACARONI AND CHEESE | |
2 c. macaroni 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard 2 c. milk 1/2 c. grated cheese Boil macaroni in water with 1 tablespoon salt; drain. Add a little butter. Melt 2 tablespoons butter; add flour, salt, dry mustard and mix well. Add milk and heat until sauce thickens a little; add cheese, stir until partially melted. Layer 1 cup cheese, macaroni and sauce in baking dish. Add 1/2 cup milk and top with 1 stick melted butter and a package crushed crackers. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. |
