LILLIE S.'S CHRISTMAS PIE 
1 tbsp. gelatin
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 pt. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla (or 1 tsp. flavored rum)
Graham cracker crumbs

Heavily butter 10 inch pie plate. Line with fine graham cracker crumbs. Refrigerate while preparing filling. Cook in double boiler (about 20 minutes) : 2 eggs, separated 1 c. sugar

Cook until spoon coats, cool (about 1 hour). Add beaten egg whites, 1 pt. whipped cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into graham cracker crust. Chill overnight.

For Christmas decorate with thin slices of red and green maraschino cherries to make poinsettias.
