“HALLOWEEN BEEF SOUP” IS IN:

HALLOWEEN BEEF SOUP 
1 (8 lb.) whole pumpkin
2 lb. ground beef
2 cups chopped onion
1 cups chopped green pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (6 oz.) can pitted black olives, chopped (Pearls)
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
2 (8 oz. ea.) cans tomato sauce (Hunts)
4 beaten eggs

Cut top from pumpkin and clean out. Set aside.

Brown beef and onion. Add green pepper and garlic. Cook 1 minute longer. Add remaining ingredients. Spoon into cleaned out pumpkin placed on baking sheet or pan.

Bake at 350°F for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Note: Do not parboil pumpkin or brush outside with oil. Bake with pumpkin top off.
