ANGEL FOOD CAKE DESSERT 
1 10" angel food cake
1 c. boiling water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1/2 pt. whipping cream (or 8 oz. whipped topping)
1 pkg. frozen strawberries

Slice angel food cake in 3 layers. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water and add frozen strawberries. Chill until thick and syrupy. Whip cream and add to strawberry mixture or add whipped topping. Spread between layers and chill until ready to serve. This cake can be made a day in advance. Serve plain or with whipped cream.

Note: Cake will retain its shape better if returned to pan while chilling.
