CARAMEL POPCORN 
3 qts. popped corn
1/2 c. nuts (pecans and/or peanuts)
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. Karo syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tbsp. butter flavoring
1/2 tbsp. vanilla

Mix brown sugar, butter, Karo syrup and salt and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add soda, butter flavoring and vanilla. Stir. Dribble over popcorn and nuts on a large cookie sheet. Stir well. Place in 200 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove and let cool.
