FRENCH SILK CHOCOLATE PIE 
8" baked pie shell
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Heavy cream, whipped
Walnuts or chocolate shavings

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar in mixer. Blend in melted chocolate when it is fairly cool. Add vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes at medium speed after each egg. Turn into cooled, baked pie shell. Chill at least 2 hours before serving. Cover with whipped cream and either chopped walnuts or chopped shavings before serving.
