2 eggs
2/3 c. shortening
1 pkg. any flavor chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. or can frosting (vanilla or chocolate flavor)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Blend eggs and shortening. Add 1/2 of the dry cake mix. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add remaining cake mix. Continue blending at low speed. Form into 1" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cookies should be soft, in center, when done. Let set on baking sheet for 1 to 2 minutes before removing. Cool. Frost cookies with prepared frosting. Can also make sandwiches.
