DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CRINKLES OR
CHOCOLATE CLOUDS
 
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp.
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. powdered sugar

Melt chocolate and butter together. Stir in sugar; cool. Beat until blended. Add vanilla. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well. Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Refrigerate dough several hours or overnight. To bake, break off small pieces of dough to form 1" balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Bake 2" apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 70 cookies.
