CHOCOLATE REVEL BARS 
3 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
1 (14 oz.) can (1 1/3 c.) sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Combine oats, flour, soda and 1 tsp. salt. Beat the 1 cup butter for 30 seconds; add the brown sugar and beat until fluffy. Add the eggs and 2 tsp. of the vanilla; beat well.

Stir dry ingredients gradually into beaten mixture, stirring until well combined.

In a saucepan, heat together sweetened condensed milk, chocolate pieces, 2 tbsp. butter and 1/2 tsp. salt over low heat. Stir in walnuts and the remaining 2 tsp. vanilla.

Pat 2/3 of the oat mixture in the bottom of an ungreased 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Spread chocolate mixture over dough. Dot with remaining oat mixture. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 72.
