CHOCOLATE REVEL BARS 
1 c. butter, softened
2-1/2 c. flour
2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. Quick rolled oats
1-1/2 c. semi-sweet choc. pieces
1 (14 oz.) sweetened cond. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts

In a large mixer bowl, beat 1 cup butter with mixer for 30 seconds. Add about half of the flour, all the brown sugar, eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla and baking soda. Beat until thoroughly combined. Beat in remaining flour and stir in oats.

In a medium saucepan cook chocolate pieces, sweetened condensed milk and 2 tablespoons butter over low heat until chocolate is melted; remove from heat. Stir in remaining vanilla and nuts. Pat 2/3 of the oat mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan. Spread chocolate mixture over the oat mixture. Dot with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees about 25 minutes or until the top is lightly golden. Chocolate mixture will still look moist. Cut into bars. Makes 60 bars.
