2 tbsp. shortening, melted
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Flour

Beat eggs until light. Add sugar and melted shortening. Sift other ingredients and add enough flour to make a soft dough. Roll out and cut. Fry in deep fat or oil. Glaze or shake in bag with sugar.
