PUMPKIN BARS | |
1/3 c. sugar 1/3 c. oil 3 eggs 15 oz. can pumpkin 1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus butter recipe cake mix 3 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. ginger, 1/2 tsp. cloves and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg can be used) 1 can Pillsbury ready to spread vanilla frosting supreme 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. In large bowl combine sugar, oil, eggs and pumpkin 1 minute at highest speed. Add cake mix and spice; blend until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at highest speed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. In small bowl combine frosting and cream cheese at low speed until smooth. Frost cooled bars. Store in refrigerator. Makes 36 bars. |
