APPLESAUCE RAISIN BARS 
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
2 c. applesauce (sugar free)
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 c. raisins

Combine shortening, sugar, applesauce and eggs. Mix well. Add mixture of flour, soda, salt and spice. Mix well. Stir in raisins. Spread in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees 25 to 35 minutes. Cool in pan.

FROSTING:

6 tbsp. butter
3 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. milk

Cook butter in saucepan over medium heat until light brown. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. Spread over cooled bars. Cut into bars. These are a very moist bar.
